Jack and Jill Went Up the Hill
Jack and Jill went up the hill,
but Jack said, "wait a minute!
If we climb up to find that well,
there might be nothing in it!"
So they turned themselves about,
and went to the corner shop;
Where they bought a bottle of lemonade,
and a can of fizzy pop.

And the familiar rhyme
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown
And Jill came tumbling after.
Then up Jack got and home did trot
As fast as he could caper;
And went to bed to mend his head
With vinegar and brown paper.
When Jill came in, how she did grin
To see Jack's paper plaster;
Her mother, vexed, did whip her next,
For laughing at Jack's disaster.
