Song Lyrics
|
I'm going to start by putting up my
favourites and then we''ll see how it goes!
Music
has played a big part in my life since my grandfather
bought me a record player in the late 1960's. The first
record I ever paid for myself was cringe, cringe, 'Back
Home' by The England World Cup Squad. It cost me 32p,
should have been 36p but I got a discount! Wow.
Now
my record collection has its own room and I have over
3000 singles and 1000 albums. CD's will never replace
vinyl for me but i do have to admit that they sound great.
Nothing can replace knowing where the record will jump,
where it hisses and where it sticks. Remember the
stackers....certain records couldn't go atop of others
because they would just slide round. Nostalgia.
Two
notes at the front means the song will play

Both Sides Now
Garden
Party
Heart Of Gold
Hitchin' A Ride
I Can See Clearly Now
I Got You Babe
I Think I Love You
Imagine by John Lennon
Killing Me Softly
Laughter In The Rain by
Neil Sedaka
Maggie Mae
Question by Justin
Hayward
