Every night

At twelve o'clock,

The gentle giant

Takes a walk;

With a cry cried high

And a call called low,

The gentle giant

Walks below.

And as he walks,

He cries, he calls:

"Bad men, boogie men,

Bully men, shoo!

No one in the neighbourhood

Is scared of you.

The children are asleep,

And the parents are too:

Bad men, boogie men,

Bully men, shoo!"
