I want to swim with dolphins
in the clear blue sea
but I'm afraid to fly;
I want to see the Northern Lights
twinkling in the sky
but I'm afraid to fly;
I want to see an all day night
which never does go dark
but I'm afraid to fly;
I want to see the Grand Canyon
vast empty open space
but I'm afraid to fly.
I want to wish upon a shooting star
just you and me together
can we do this soon please;
I want to ride a pure white horse
along the beach at dusk
can we do this soon please;
I want to make a snow angel
in deep pure virgin snow
can we do this soon please;
I want to lay in the grass
and blow the clouds away
can we do this soon please.
I have already seen an eclipse
the world went dark so quick
I'd love to do this again though;
I have ice-skated round the rink
and done a figure eight
I'd love to do this again though;
I've had a little puppy dog
wet nose and muddy paws
I'd love to do this again though.
I've had two lovely baby girls
although they now are grown
I'd love to do this again though.
If only there was more time
for treating myself once again
life is short but can be fun;

or aching in our bones

and not look for the bad

Why not live life at your own pace
life is just a human race

We are all the same beneath the skin
some tell lies and others sin

Each day is special, you're alive
dance the polka or the jive
there are no winners or losers here;
When we get to our maker's door
He'll treat us all the same
